Principal Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management
Ben Gittins - Chartered Financial Planner & Fellow of the Chartered insurance Institute.
Having enjoyed learning about Economics from a young age, it seemed a logical choice to study Economics at university. Throughout my degree I was most interested in elements of Money and Banking and also Corporate Finance. These interests led me into a career as a holistic Financial Planner which gives me the ability to help my clients with all aspects of their finances from Savings and Investment planning, Financial Protection, Retirement planning and also business owners on their business affairs.
My approach is to help ascertain the clients’ current circumstances and look to see how I can help them to reach their financial goals and objectives by implementing a bespoke financial planning solution tailored to the clients’ requirements. I endeavour to help my clients improve their tax-efficiency, potential returns and general organisation. By taking the burden away from my clients, it allows them to enjoy their free time and focus on matters important to them.
I believe long term relationships are beneficial, therefore my aim is to help clients throughout their whole lives from buying their first house to managing their finances effectively in retirement. I look to work with more than one generation of a family to ensure that should a legacy be left for the younger generation, we can work with all involved to ensure the legacy is preserved.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
